Tree Pose, or Vrksasana, is a balancing pose that helps to improve focus and concentration while strengthening the legs and core. This pose is especially beneficial for improving balance and stability, as well as increasing flexibility in the hips and shoulders.

To practice Tree Pose, start in Mountain Pose, shift your weight onto your left foot, and place your right foot on your left thigh. Your hands can be placed in prayer position or extended above your head.

Focus on your breath and find a spot in front of you to help with balance. Hold for several breaths, then switch sides. Remember to keep your spine tall and engage your core muscles for support.
