About the Recipe

My favorite yet! The best soft and chewy cookies loaded with chocolate chips, these plant-based treats will satisfy your sweet tooth without any animal products.


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
